W. Shakespeare
Que encara a tempestade com bravura;
É astro que norteia a vela errante,
Cujo valor se ignora, lá na altura.
Amor não teme o tempo, muito embora
Seu alfange não poupe a mocidade;

Shall i compare thee to a summer's day?
Thou art more lovely and more temperate:
Rough winds do shake the darling buds of may,
And summer's lease hath all too short a date:
Sometime too hot the eye of heaven shines,
And often is his gold complexion dimm'd;
And every fair from fair sometime declines,
By chance or nature's changing course untrimm'd;
But thy eternal summer shall not fade
Nor lose possession of that fair thou owest;
Nor shall death brag thou wander'st in his shade,
When in eternal lines to time thou growest:
So long as men can breathe or eyes can see,
So long lives this and this gives life to thee.

William Shakespeare

Pensamentos
Certain thoughts are prayers.
There are moments when, whatever be the attitude of the body, the soul is on its knees.
.......................... ...................Victor Hugo
Music is the expression of the movement of the waters, the play of curves described by changing breezes.
.......................... ...............Claude Debussy
The soul becomes dyed with the color of its thoughts.
.......................... ............Marcus Aurelius
It was a favorite expression of Theophrastus that time was the most valuable thing that a man could spend.
.......................... ...........Diogenes
Give thy thoughts no tongue.
.......................... .........William Shakespeare
One great use of words is to hide our thoughts.
.......................... ...............Voltaire
Except our own thoughts, there is nothing absolutely in our power.
.......................... ..................Rene Descartes
All truly great thoughts are conceived by walking.
.......................... ..............Friedrich Nietzsche

William Shakespeare - Our Revels Now Are Ended - Richard Burton
Richard Burton performs
Our Revels Now Are Ended
The Tempest - Act 4 Scene 1
by William Shakespeare (1564-1616)
Our revels now are ended. These our actors,
As I foretold you, were all spirits and
Are melted into air, into thin air:
And, like the baseless fabric of this vision,
The cloud-capp'd towers, the gorgeous palaces,
The solemn temples, the great globe itself,
Yea, all which it inherit, shall dissolve
And, like this insubstantial pageant faded,
Leave not a rack behind. We are such stuff
As dreams are made on, and our little life
Is rounded with a sleep.
